The Camus Private Collection is an exclusive creation, dedicated to the ambassadors and partners of the House of Camus. This collaboration with Chef Akrame Benallal, renowned for his culinary vision and refined expertise, has resulted in an exceptional cognac. As an ambassador for the House, the chef used his technical sensitivity and delicate taste to create a rich and complex blend, in collaboration with the Camus teams in March 2023.
The result is a unique product from the treasures of Camus' private cellars. Akrame Benallal selected eaux-de-vie from different years, choosing 3 out of 5 batches with distinctive characteristics and adjusting the proportions to achieve a perfect blend.
This rare cognac is presented in an elegant decanter, inspired by medieval French ‘Arts de la Table’, combining historical elegance with pure aesthetics, putting emotions at the centre of the gastronomic experience.

Aromas of sweet spices, ripe fruit, delicate nuts, sweet plums with buttery notes reminiscent of fine pastries, followed by rancio. Finishes with hints of liquorice and earthy humus undertones, offering exceptional aromatic fullness.

Soft, silky texture on the initial attack, followed by a spicy, woody length on the mid-palate, with marked sophistication. The finish is iodised and slightly salty, reminiscent of cognacs from the Île de Ré, with a long-lasting, refined touch of liquorice.
