The Annual Camus Ball embodies cosmopolitan elegance, French traditions, and gastronomic artistry, offering guests an unforgettable cultural and culinary experience.
Rooted in history, the tradition of grand balls dates back to 1385, when France celebrated the royal wedding of King Charles VI and Isabeau of Bavaria. By the 17th century, events like Paris' Bal de l'Opera had become the pinnacle of European sophistication and bon vivant culture.
Reviving this legacy, Camus partnered with the Chaine des Rôtisseurs in 2019 to launch the Camus Ball in China, expanding to five major cities by 2021 and gaining acclaim across Asia and Europe by 2024. Together, they bring a luxurious feast and timeless traditions to esteemed guests worldwide.

Camus Ball by CHAINE des ROTISSEURS
Founded in 1248, when the French King Louis IX established the guild of “Aveurs”, the Chaine des Rotisseurs nowadays accounts for over 25,000 members worldwide with a presence in more than 80 countries.
The distinctive character of this association brings together enthusiasts and professionals from all over the world in the appreciation of fine cuisine: hoteliers, restaurateurs, executive chefs, sommeliers, or individuals passionate about the culinary arts.
As a non-profit organization, the Chaine des Rotisseurs maintains its heritage, philosophy, and charity work by featuring the best experience of the finest drinks and food and the encouragement of the culinary of the Gastronomic society.

Michel Camus (1911-1985) was a tectonic link in its deployment both in France and around the world thanks to his worldwide involvement in duty-free.
Jean-Paul Camus continued to develop the organization through his strong and dynamic involvement.
Since 2017, Cyril Camus joined by his wife Alexa, has taken up the torch, organizing somptous Gala in France & China with La Chaîne.
2024 marks a new symbolic step, as Ryan, Cyril's eldest son, joins the great adventure of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.
