The diffusion of punch in Europe in XVII century – When cocktails didn't even exist and sailors imported new modes of consumption after their trips to the east and in the Caribbean - passed through a cultural local adaptation made of cognac; the enduring popularity of cognac libations was from that moment connected to the high mixability of the spirit with fruit. For our punch we have decided to match the intense fruity notes of our Very Special with fresh pineapple and the spicy ones with Earl Grey tea, for a cocktail that is best enjoyed with friends.


45 ml Very Special
¼ of a medium pineapple squeezed
60 ml Cold Infused Earl Grey Tea
20 ml Lemon juice
30 ml Vanilla Syrup
Top Champagne
Garnish with a slice of pineapple



Mix all the ingredients in a shaker over fresh ice. Shake well, strain into a tumbler filled with ice. Top with Champagne and garnish with a slice of pineapple



This is a perfect recipe for a summer aperitif. If you want to enjoy this cocktail in group, increase the amount ingredients by the number of friends and serve it into a large jar.
