The genesis of Borderies Special Dry starts with CAMUS production team pushing even further the process aimed at revealing the best of the Borderies terroir: only grapes from the family estate parcels with the maximum aromatic potential and a distillation technique maximizing esters and minimizing higher alcohols’ content. The result is a Cognac with unprecedented fruity and floral aromas, together with a dry taste profile, perfect for mixing.

TASTING NOTES OF CAMUS COGNAC BORDERIES SPECIAL DRY

COULEUR : Intense mahogany gold with orange highlights

NEZ : Bright notes of white fruits – as pear and peach – and white flowers, with touches of anise, butter, sandalwood and vanilla

Round, with notes of dried fruit and a finish rich in roasted aromas – as liquorice and cinnamon – with a dry mouthfeel

• Maturation: Fine-medium grain French oak cask (capacity 350 litres)

• Terroir: Cru Borderies (Single Estate Cognac exclusively from our family vineyards)

• Grape varieties: Ugni Blanc (possible presence of Colombard and Folle Blanche)

• Ageing: Blend of eaux de vie between 3 to 8 years old minimum

• Tasting: Ambient temperature (20°) or on ice and ideal for cocktails

The carbon footprint is the result of the global eco-design approach undertaken since 2021. This approach aims to reduce the environmental impact of each product designed by CAMUS based on a simplified Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) calculated on the entire life cycle of the product and on 6 environmental indicators, including the greenhouse gas indicator. Value calculated for a 70cl reference.
