In our quest for perpetual refinement, we created CAMUS Borderies Special Dry: a cognac twice as aromatic, imagined with the aim of making the best cocktails.

We then selected 6 talented mixologists to create the best cocktails using our Borderies Special Dry cognac.

The cocktail "Nuit de Jasmin", was born from the creativity of the young bartender Cyril Cioli, who reached the first place of the podium with this cocktail with floral flavors.

A few words from Cyril CIOLI:

"Upon receiving this copper-colored flask, I was eager to taste and develop a recipe that would highlight Borderies Special Dry cognac.

During the tasting of the cognac, I immediately noticed the floral flavors, which I wanted to reveal through this recipe.

Since the association of cognac and jasmine is already unanimous, I decided to add an organic Jasmine syrup to my recipe.

The elderflower allows us to stay in the floral theme of the Special Dry cognac and to spice up its flavors even more !

The acidity of the lemon balances out the sweetness for the most enjoyable mix."

Cocktail recipe

Glass : Cup

Technique: Shaker, double strain

Ingredients:

• 4cl Camus Borderies Special Dry Cognac
• 2.5cl Lemon juice
• 1cl Elderflower Liqueur
• 1cl Organic jasmine syrup

Add a lemon peel for decoration and enjoy !

• Maturation: Fine-medium grain French oak cask (capacity 350 litres)

• Terroir: Cru Borderies (Single Estate Cognac exclusively from our family vineyards)

• Grape varieties: Ugni Blanc (possible presence of Colombard and Folle Blanche)

• Ageing: Blend of eaux de vie between 3 to 8 years old minimum

• Tasting: Ambient temperature (20°) or on ice and ideal for cocktails
